Choose Wisely!

So this is my first meme that got a lot of positive reviews! I got more coming enjoy!

Now. To the Toon! "Choose Wisely!"

What I was trying to achieve here is truth. Brutal truth. There simply is no "community" as a community would nurture, protect and guard the dignity of all it's members. Unfortunately, I feel that one too many (ok, the vast majority) Black Women simply believe that they come from a strong community for know other reason than they simply want to believe it. But the cold hard truth is that Blackistan is not a place of love, nurture and affirmation- its one of brutal assault on their psyche and spirits and no one but other Black Women come to their defense.

How much longer, dear sister, are you going to allow yourself to be spat upon? How much longer are you going to keep the scales over your eyes? It is now or never. Make the choices in life that are best for YOU. Never, ever believe that in order to get love, you must contort yourself into the fantasy of sick males. It is your goddess-given right as a woman- the one who nurtures and sustains life- to be protected and loved. I honestly ask you to look around and see what is going on. Before you get all upset and say I am "betraying the race" consider my argument. And why wouldn't you? Every time some black male criticizes you listen and tell your self that you are just taking constructive criticism. Why not listen to me, your sister and the one who can not stop sharing your same experiences no matter what. Look at the rape statistic, blatant misogyny and ill-treatment of women in the black community. Why do the men rally around the Tookie Williams and Genarlo Wilsons, but not the Rekia Boyds or Marissa Alexanders? What other cultures allow it's so called "cultural music" to openly denigrate and/or erase it's women? I am begging you to wake up. You have never known the degradation of being a slave master's whore because your grandmothers before you fought for your dignity. So why do you still allow your self- which has been bought at so precious a price- to be slandered by any so-called "community"?

You will either fight for your own happiness, or be sacrificed for someone else's. And haven't we as Black Women already sacrificed enough?

If Immitation is the best form of flattery....

....then I'd hate to see what the hell most people who imitate "black culture" would do if they hated us!

What I am I talking about? These very interesting members of a subculture in Britain known as "Chavs". Now I  don't even know how I came across this but I discovered this online, needless to say. Apparently they are low-income, crass, dependent upon government assistance and violent. Or at least that's the steryotype. Though the origin of the word is disputed, it is similar to what we in American know as "white trash". Now, I must be fair when I say that these are all STEREOTYPES of a particular class of people and I am not one for putting anybody in a box they don't want to be in.What I will also say is that their behavior is just a little to similar to ghetto blacks and I can not help but conclude that this is exactly what they are imitating. Some things they are non for include:

For women:

 For men:

Now, there has been some criticism saying that this is just people making fun of hard working, working class whites in England and for those of you who don't know, classicism is England's racism. All I can say is, it's very disturbing. I am sure that not everyone is involved in crime and violence but I think it just goes to show haw destructive hip-hop influence is. If this is happening to kids in England, what do you think it means fro kids growing up in Detroit, St. Louis or Memphis? Please turn the shit off!

Anybody ever heard of The Daily Kos?

I was looking up some pics of Black Women to post on my blog as I am celebrating women with flat noses and I cam across this website called The Daily Kos. I was delighted to find that last year, someone there defended the honor and beauty of Black Women from that dredful feux-scienist who will remain unnamed. I was so delighted to read and I wanted to pass it along to any sisters who may have political Democrat sympathies as I believe that this is what the site deals with. Here is some more info!

Wiki FAQs

Page I was referring to.

I don't know what color or sex the writer was, but I d appreciate their breaking down the info and being a voice of reason in our defense. Check them out and remember that Black Women are......

I have no catchy title for this one. Too pissed.

Thank you, Father Attucks!
So, I just posted this on my Facebook (FB is the reason I haven't been posting here lately. Hehe!)

Ok. So I just for the first time heard Chris Rock's whole "Black's vs. Niggas" and.....wow! How he thought that whole display of coonery wouldn't put him in the latter category is beyond me. All that does is invite outsiders to disrespect the members of his group, who don't have his fame and money.
You know, we talk a lot about rappers and how they sell out all people of black American descent, but what about comedians like him and that evil Chepelle? (I hate him BTW) Why can't these fools rely on their own talent and stop wit the race gimmicks? Why do they not give a crap about how that effects the rest of us and future generations? And why do so many dull-minded "blacks" back up coonery? I don't get it.

Add to that his really dumb Tweet about the 4th of July. I had mentioned to someone earlier that Crispus Attucks was an African/Native American biracial man who gave his life for the Revolution and I'm sure he was thinking about future generations of US. So why not call it Crispus Attucks Day, if you want to relate it to our unique history. Geesh.

Then something else came up. I was looking up an article and came across someone who had posted about his and a few other controversies over the holiday and something said there shocked me. I really like this gorgeous French actress named Julie Delpy. She made this awesome film about Countess Erzebet Bathory. If you have Netflix give it a watch. It's called "The Countess". She wrote and directed it and I was psyched to see that she was staring in another Indie all her own called 2 Days in New York and I was totally revved up to see it....until I saw who her love interest was-Chris Rock. Now bare in mind, this was BEFORE the Twitter incident. I didn't want to see any movie with him because I loathe his whole "Good Hair" clown show. Then this incident happened and now I read something very, very depressing from the author of this article:

"Rock has yet to respond to the social media "backlash," instead moving on by promoting the upcoming iTunes release of 2 Days In New York—Julie Delpy's neurotic indie romance that Middle America is totally not going to watch now."

That honestly saddens me. Think about it, many people probably don't know who Julie is, and the idea that her work could be tainted in anyway by Rock's actions just sickens me.I hope that doesn't happen. I really do.

What sickens me even more is why don't more black people in general understand that by not checking these types of people that, what this person predicts will happen to Julie, will happen to the rest of us? Why? Why do they support on principle any  person just because they are black? Isn't that racism? Why not vet them to see if they are truly in the best interests of the people or just using their identity to sell out everyone else for personal gain. Take the blinders off and realize that supporting so-called members of your group who do not reflect your values is not in your best interest.

Happy Belated Fourth!
